We hired the private dining room for our wedding reception for 28 people. They provided us with a set menu with 4 options per course which we shared with our guests in advance to book. The team were extremely helpful in the lead up with pre ordering the food and arranging the table layouts. All the team on the day were brilliant and I would especially like to thank Dale and Bart for all their help. The food was perfect and all our guests enjoyed the meal (I particularly love the chicken and bacon pie and the sticky toffee pudding). Overall I was very impressed, the team were around when we needed them and also gave us space to enjoy the evening. I would also highlight the breakfast which has a really good variety of options.

This was the most amazing and special day made even more superb by the excellent but unobtrusive attention of the staff throughout, even down to one person dedicated to looking after us all the time we were there. A large party of 24 could not have had better food either from the delicious twice baked souffles to the chicken, steak, fish. In fact everything was delicious. Everyone commented on the quality of the meal and all had a wonderful time. I must thank everyone at The Wheatsheaf who contributed to the success of my special birthday, from the delicious bloody Mary’s to the much praised Cote du Rhône, nothing was too much trouble and we were so well looked after by all the staff.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a car park?

Since we hail from the era of carriages rather than cars, our parking space is quite limited, tucked away at the back of the building. If our spots are all taken, fear not, there’s always plenty of on-street parking just outside waiting for you.

How do I get to you via public transport?

The S7 & S2 buses both run from Hanborough Station to Northleach throughout the day, dropping you off just a 2-minute walk down the road.
